Subject: The five members of the Aerial Experimental Association that built and flew the Silver Dart at Baddeck, NS, painted for the 100^th anniversary of the first powered flight in Canada in 2009. This was also the 50^th anniversary of the cancellation of the Avro Arrow. The painting symbolizes how far aviation had advanced from The Silver Dart to the Arrow in only 50 years.
