Subject: A Canadair-built Canadian Forces CT-133 Silver Star (affectionately known as the "T-bird") descends on its approach to land at the CF base at Gimli, MB in the early 1960s. The T-bird evolved from the Korean War vintage F-80 Shooting Star fighter into an advanced trainer that trained two generations of pilots in more than 30 countries around the world.
